本文从历史社会语言学的角度,对上海南京路上一百多年间的语言景观进行历时考查。首先我们把南京路上的语言景观分为四个历史阶段:第一阶段(清末时期1870~1911)、第二阶段(民国时期1912~1948)、第三阶段(新中国成立至改革开放前1949~1976)、第四阶段(改革开放后1977~2013),然后根据功能的不同把语言景观分为四个要素:(1)店名招牌;(2)商业广告;(3)政治标语;(4)公益广告。文中以照片影像为依据,一方面通过宏观分析,展示一百多年来南京路上语言景观从形成、繁荣、动荡到复兴的历史过程;另一方面通过微观分析,追踪同一局部景观的具体变化,揭示政治形势和经济体制等社会因素对语言景观变化的影响。
This article from the historical sociolinguistics perspective, on the Nanjing Road in Shanghai for more than 100 years of language landscape lasted examination. First of all, we divide the linguistic landscape of Nanjing Road into four historical stages: the first stage (1870-1911 in the late Qing Dynasty), the second stage (1912-1948 during the Republic of China), the third stage (1949-1996) 1976), the fourth stage (from 1977 to 2013 after the reform and opening up), and then divided the language landscape into four elements according to different functions: (1) store name signs, (2) commercial advertisements, (3) political slogans, PSAs. On the one hand, through the macroscopic analysis, this paper shows the historical process of the formation, prosperity, turbulence and rejuvenation of the linguistic landscape on the Nanjing Road over a hundred years; on the other hand, through the microanalysis, it tracks the specific changes of the same local landscape, Reveal the political situation and economic system and other social factors on the impact of language landscape changes.
