Intermittent exotropia is a common condition in which control of the squint varies widely from patient to patient.This presentation will describe methods for measuring control of the squint, variation in control from time to time, indications for squint surgery,choice of surgical approach, management of surgical overcorrections and the use of adjustable sutures for adults and older children.
