  This paper studies the basic physical and chemical properties of MSW in Guangdong,The two typical incinerator:incinerator-Circulating Fluidized Bed and Grate Furnace(named A and B)were studied,and collected stack gas and ambient air asmples and conducetd a series of analyzes.Details and basic conclusions are as follows:(1)The MSW in study area is suitable incineration and also has economic benefits.The calorific value is higher than the value of the minimum recommended by the world bank(6000kj?kg-1),the average calorific value of 8423.92kj?kg-1 is also higher than the world bank recommended 7000kj?kg-1.The factors which promoting the incinerator are: textile,rubber,paper,flammable proportion.(2)Comparison of two furnace incinerator stack gas heavy metals value found that grate below the circulating fluicized bed.The incineration plant(circulating fluizized bed)A,which has a significant impact to the surrounding ambient air heavy metal content and with increasing distance from the burning of influence waning.The correlation of heavy metals in stack gas and its surrounding ambient air is strong(0.81(p<0.05)),principal component analysis found: incinerator contribution to its surrounding 64.78%heavy metal.The sources of heavy metals in the soil is complicated and other sources may make more contribution to it.For incinerator plant B(grant),ambient air of heavy metals(Cd,Pb)value lower than the air quality standards(GB3095-2012).Correlation analysis and principal component analysis showed that heavy metal in ambient air from the industrial areas,roads,etc.,the contribution from the incinerator is only to 28.64%.(3)Thera is cancer risk through inhalation exposure in the range of 0~2km of incineration A,does not exit cancer risk through oral exposure and skin adherence pathway.There is no non-carcinogenic health risk through oral,inhalation and skin adherence exposure pathway.The hazard index of metals in the order of : Cr>Tl>Cd>As>Ni>Cu>Zn>Hg,and all witin safe values in addition to Tl(Children)and Cr(Children).For incineration plant B,the study area dose not exit(except Cr)non-carcinogenic health risk and cancer risk through the inhalation exposure pathway.The risk of cancer and no non-carcinogenic health through three kinds of exposure way(oral,inhalation,skin adherence)increasing with the age and women higher than men in adult.For the skin adherence exposure risk,if only using U.S.EPA recommended exposure parameters,the results will lower for child and higher for adult.
