At Shanghai Jiao Tong University, we have recently established a laser-plasma research laboratory based on 200 TW 30 fs Ti: sapphire laser system where we are conducting various relativistic laser-plasma interactions.In this invited talk, I am giving a detailed report on our recent results on monoenergetic electron beam acceleration to multi-hundred having lov energy-spread based on ionization-induced injection of the laser wakefield acceleration (LWFA) scheme at our laboratory.In principle, the quality of the generated electron beams could be further enhanced making them suitable for driving ultra-compact sofiX-ray FEL.
