  In a pulse tube cryocooler,most acoustic power is dissipated at the hot end of pulse tube,while it is recovered by the displacer or piston in the Stirling cryocoolers.Especially in the application of cooling superconductor with high-powered pulse tube cryocoolers,the dissipated acoustic power would be worthwhile considering to be utilized.Thus,a cascade pulse tube cooler,of which the secondary stage was driven by the dissipated acoustic power via a transmission tube,was proposed in this paper.Simulations based on SAGE showed that the COP of this type of cascade pulse tube cooler will be significantly increased comparing with that of the original single stage pulse tube cooler.The experiment of the primary stage was carried out and the result fitted quite well with our modeling prediction,which indicated the credibility of the work recovery.
