MiR-378 was reported down-regulated expression in several cancers including hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).We have previously shown that serum miR-378 was significantly lower in patients of HBV related HCC than that in healthy control, and overexpression of miR-378 significantly inhibited HCC cell proliferation and colony formation.However, the effects of miR-378 on HCC cell invasion and migration has not been established.In present study, the Transwell invasion and migration assay showed that compared with negative control group, there was a significant suppression in cell invasion and migration after hepG2 and hepG2.2.15 cells transfected with miR-378 mimics for 72h, P<0.01.
