In vivo optical imaging is emerging as an important technique in medical imaging, and the development of safe and effective fluorescence-based probes has attracted many attentions.Mesoporous silica nanoparticals (MSNs) and dendrimers have showed promising platform as imaging probes [1-2].In this study,we report the fabrication and application of mesoporous silica-peptide dendrimers nanohybrid based nanoprobe that can facilitate near-infrared (NIR) optical imaging. The nanohybrid was prepared by surface modification of MSNs via click reaction of azido-MSNs with alkynyl peptide dendrimer. After labeling with the near-infrared dye Cy5.5,the nanoprobe with diameters of 60 nm was obtained and characterized well by TEM, SEM, TGA, nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms.
