  Honeycomb sandwich composite material,as a kind of sandwich composite material,has became one of the indispensable materials in aviation and space flight since its advent with a series of advantages over traditional materials.Compression performance of two kinds commonly used honeycomb for honeycomb sandwich composite material was tested in this paper,also bending performance of warp and weft honeycomb sandwich composite material was tested.The results showed that both honeycomb core structure went through three states in the process of compression: elastic stage,yield stage and compaction stage;bending performance of warp direction and weft direction hexagonal honeycomb sandwich structure composites was relatively close,while bending performance of warp and weft corrugated honeycomb sandwich structure composites differenced;with the increase of the thickness of the core material,ultimate load and bending stiffness of corrugated type honeycomb sandwich structure increased,bending strength and ultimate load corresponding to the nominal strain reduced.
