基于废钢质量管理，提出了提高废钢比的方法。高炉应提高废钢加入量；提高铁水罐 鱼雷罐车的周转、提高铁水罐、鱼雷罐车的周转率；铁包内预热废钢，提高铁水温度，提高铁水硅含量。转炉应预热废钢；提高转炉热效率；使用铁块；LF精炼；开发转炉提温剂；半钢冶炼。并分析了实际应用效果。
