Lung cancer is a major cause of cancer related deaths both in the developed and developing nations.Early diagnosis of this disease is important for reducing high mortality rate arising due to lung cancer.Aptamers, which was generated from in vitro selection experiments and can bind with high affinity and specificity for targets, have demonstrated the merits required to recognize cancel cells and have shown great potential for applications in the detection of cancer cells.
