Aim: Berberine (BER) presents multiple beneficial biological effects including anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptosis properties.However, its poor bioavailability limited its applications.Solid Dispersion of berberine with sodium caprate (HGSD) has been developed in our lab, which remarkably improves the bioavailability of berberine.
