In this article,based on the daily precipitation from 13 meteorological stations in the YangtzeRiver Delta,spatial and temporal variation of precipitation extremes(twelve indices selected)during 1960-2013 are investigated and influence of urbanization are further analyzed.The Mann-Kendall test and Morlet wavelet are used to detect the variation in the abrupt change and period inthe extreme precipitation series.
