Thermocouple is a widely used temperature sensor in high temperature measurement so far.Although thermocouple can be used in the environments up to 2600℃, it is easy to be oxidized in high temperature environment for a long time.For this purpose, a kind of sapphire-fiber temperature sensor with ceramic armor was introduced and calibrated.Alumina ceramics was used as the ceramic armor.The fiber connector was made by 310S stainless steel.A tapered opening was set at the very top of the ceramic armor.This tapered opening can stop the high speed airflow to a certain extent, and convert the kinetic energy of the airflow into internal energy during the test.In this calibration system, PEGASUSPLUS1200 dry block calibrator was used as a static calibrate source.S5971 Si-photoelectric diode was used as the detector to receive the radiation signal from the sapphire-fiber blackbody cavity.The T-V curve was presented via the static calibration of the sensor.With the higher testing temperature and the stronger mechanical structure, the sensor can be applied to high temperature measurement of aircraft engine up to 1800℃.
