This study examined the relationship between abusive supervision and neglect by focusing on a three way interaction model.Using multi-wave design,we collected data from 315 employees in a Chinese leading petrochemical corporation,we found that abusive supervision is positively related to neglect; leader-based perceived insider status (leader-based PIS) and perceived organizational support (POS) moderates the relationship between abusive supervision and neglect; POS will decrease the moderating effect of leader-based PIS on the relationship between leaders abusive supervision and employees neglect.Theoretical and practical implications,limitations of this study and future research direction are discussed.
