Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) chemically modified by 2, 9, 16, 23-tetraaminophthalocyanine-cobalt and 1, 8, 15, 22-tetraaminophthalocyanine-cobalt with secondary amines bond and their structures have been prepared and characterized by ATR-FTIR spectra, SEM and XPS.Compared with blank battery, MWCNTs as catalysts have enhanced the performance of Li/SOCl2 battery when a 40Ω constant resistance discharged to 2.00V at 25 ℃ and the capacity increased by 11% and 9.8%, respectively. In addition, the catalytic mechanism was proposed.
