  Maize ear rot is one of the most important diseases of maize in the world corn zones.More than 20 pathogens were found on maize ear.Fusarium vertcillioides and F.graminearum are the most important fungal pathogen, associated with disease such as maize ear rot.At present, fungicides, disease resistant breeding, field management, etc.are still applied to prevent of maize ear rot.In order to improve control effects of maize ear rot in Liaoning, biological characteristics of Fusarium spp.and screen of chemical and biologic fungicieds against maize ear rot were studied.Results were as followed:
