Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the implant survival in the maxilla after radiotherapy in oral cancer patients.Methods: A comprehensive research on MEDLINE,PUBMED and EMBASE was conducted for articles published between January 1990 and July 2014 to identify literature presenting survival data on the topic of dental implants in Maxilla patients who received radiotherapy for head and neck cancer.References of relevant studies were also searched.Screening,data extraction and quality assessment were conducted independently and in duplicate.Random effect model was used to calculate the survival rate of dental implant in irradiated Maxillary jaw and the 95%confidence interval.
