　　Aim:To investigate the expression profiles of rat BAP31,a transmembrane protein that associates with nascent membrane proteins in transit between endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and cis-Golgi.Significance:Although BAP31 RNA expression is ubiquitous,the proteins anatomic localization in rat tissues has not been determined.Fully illustration of the distribution of BAP31 in the protein level would further the function study on this molecule.Methods:Recombinant wild-type rat BAP31 fused with glutathione S transferase (GST) were expressed and used as immunogen.
