To understand space environment can be utilized as a special resource to mutate plant seeds.We have obtained several plant mutants from the seeds of rice after board recoverable satellites in 1996.Some new traits,such as good yields,diseases resistance,higher nutrient values,etc.,have been identified.In present research,we employed a systemic method to measure and define blast diseases resistance changing on six stable mutant strains (971-5,972-4,973-3,974-4,974-5 and 974-7,) and their controls(971ck,972ck,973ck and 974ck).
