Rice consumption has increased exponentially worldwide, becoming the number one consumed food.Environmental samples from rice areas are well documented, but less information is known about pesticide residues in rice-grain samples.Traditionally, the determination of pesticide residues in rice has been accomplished by GC/MS.The application of new classes of pesticides has allowed laboratories to increase the use of LC tandem MS.
