The instability and breakup of viscoelastic jets is one central problem in the applications including pesticide spraying, fiber spinning, food processing, ink-jet printing, propulsion systems and extensional rheometers.It is generally recognized that a beads-on-a-string structure, in which large droplets are connected by a thin uniform thread, will be formed at later times during the evolution of a disturbance on jet surface.
