Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor.It has the disadvantage of poor aqueous solubility.Therefore,it is important to develop an effective method to enhance the solubility of the drug.The aim of this study is the investigation of the invitro dissolution rates of tablets composed of tadalafil and poly vinyl pyrolidon (PVP) in comparison with Cialis.Three solutions consist of different ratio of Tadalafil:PVP,1∶5,1∶10,1∶20,in ethanol were prepared and then dried via fluid bed drier to produce fine powder.Equal amount of microcrystalline cellulose (avicel) were added to each powder as diluent and then,the mixture were granulated.Granules were dried and then were pressed.Invitro dissolution rates were tested for three formulated tablets consisting PVP and also Cialis.
