  Hickory, an important non-timber species in Zhejiang Province, has unisexual and monoecious flowers.So far there has been no cultivar under the species.In recent years it has been found that hickory is an apomictic plant.Based on a fact of open pollination and random mating in a natural population, a data set of molecular markers and a likelihood function were established, in which outcross, apomixis and selfing are considered, respectively and EM algorithm is used to estimate unknown parameters including rates of outcross (ω), apomixis (θ) and selfing (1-θ-ω).
