At present, cotton industry chains had reached aconsensus that cotton grower direct subsidies policyshould be implemented. the relevant departmentsof the state is studying the control mechanism toestablish cotton price reasonable system of China,and to maintain the competitiveness in the interna-tional of China textile industry.

China Internet Network Information Center (ab-breviated as CNNIC) recently issued annual report onChina's online shopping market. At the end of Decem-ber 2012, there were 242 million online shopping users,accounted for 42.9% of the internet users. China's onlineshopping market transactions amounted to CNY 1259.4billion, a year-on-year growth of 66.5%, accounted for6.1% of the total social consumer goods retail sales.
Online Shopping amounted to CNY 5,203 percapita of China in 2012, compared to 2011 increasedby CNY 1302, a year-on-year growth of 25%. Theaverage online shopping frequency to 18 times in sixmonths, compared to 2011 increased by 3.5 times. 81.8% of the online buyers had purchased wear-ing in the past six months, 31.6% of the online buyershad purchased daily necessities in the past six months,29.6% of the online buyers had purchased digital prod-ucts and accessories in the past six months, last year,shopping by mobile phone users reached 55.44 millionpeople, accounting for 13.2% of mobile phone users.
According to the report, 65% of the online buy-ers reduced outside shopping frequency, 55% of the
:online buyers saved daily spending through onlineshopping. For the choice of objects, review was one ofthe biggest influence factors, regardless the buyers fa-miliar with the product or not familiar with the prod-uct. The price was the greatest influence for 22.7% ofthe buyers when they were familiar with the product.

IMRG chief information officer Tina Spooner said,at the beginning of 2010, the mobile terminal salesaccounted for only 0.4% of the entire British elec-tronic retail market, it rising at an alarming rate in theresent 3 years, mobile terminal retail accounted for1/5 of online shopping. With the use of the Intemetfrom the PC terminal transfer to the mobile terminal,the mobile terminal will become the preferred equip-ment for online shopping. In view ofdifferent industries, the main raw materialpurchase price indices of 8 industries includ-ing manufacture of textile wearing appareland ornament etc. were above the threshold,and the purchase cost of enterprises in-creased; Production and business activitiesexpectation index was 56.3 percent, downby 3.0 percentage points over last month,indicating that a lower proportion of manu-facturing enterprises were optimistic for theproduction and business activities expecta-tion within the next three months.
The national clothing sales growth sloweddown in April
According to the statistics of China NationalCommercial Information Center in April, 2013,retail clothing prices rose 6.5% in the nationallarge-scale retail enterprises, the highest growthrate since the beginning of the year. According tothe statistics of National Bureau in April, 2013,retail sales of clothing, shoes, hats, knitwear andtextile grew 9.5% in above designated enterprises,compared to last month slowed 7.9 percentagepoints, compared to the same period last yearslowed 10 percentage points.
