Objective To evaluate the safety, reliability and prevention of common complications of percutaneous coronary intervention (Perclose ProGlide) by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods From April 2007 to May 2009, 217 patients undergoing PCI via femoral artery were enrolled. Patients were randomly divided into vascular stapler group (n = 105) and control group according to whether postoperative vascular suture was used or not example). Observation and recording of lower limbs brake time and vascular complications in both groups. Results In the vascular stapler group, 103 cases were successfully operated (98.1%), 2 cases failed, and 112 cases (100%) were successful in the control group. There was no significant difference in success rate between the two groups (P> 0.05). The lower limb brachial time of the vascular stapler group and the control group were (4.1 ± 1.2) and (25.0 ± 3.1) h, respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.01). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusion The vascular stapler is a safe and reliable method of hemostasis, which can shorten the braking time obviously and has no obvious vascular complications at the puncture site. The skilled operation can reduce the incidence of complications.
