第一届国际卫生经济学会学术交流大会于1996年5月19～23日在加拿大温哥华举行。国际卫生经济学会主席Joseph Newhouse先生、副主席Alan Maynard和Mark Pauly先生出席了这次大会。参加这次学术交流活动的代表是来自世界各地的从事卫生经济学研究与应用的专家、学者与实际工作者,约370人。 这次大会的主要议题是:(1)卫生服务与卫生资源的分配;(2)卫生服务的范围;(3)卫生服务提供者、支付者和使用者的目标和动机;(4)卫生改革的受益者和受损者,卫生改革的经验与教训;(5)卫生服务的机会成本。
The first International Academic Exchange Conference on Health Economics was held in Vancouver, Canada from May 19th to 23rd, 1996. Mr. Joseph Newhouse, President of the International Health Economics Association, and Vice Presidents Alan Maynard and Mark Pauly attended the conference. Representatives participating in this academic exchange activity are experts, scholars and practical workers from around the world who are engaged in the research and application of health economics, with about 370 people. The main topics of the conference are: (1) the distribution of health services and health resources; (2) the scope of health services; (3) the goals and motivations of health care providers, payers and users; (4) health reforms The beneficiaries and the losers, the experience and lessons of health reform; (5) the opportunity cost of health services.
