肺气肿是老年慢性气管炎的常见并发症,严重的肺气肿可以导致肺功能衰竭和肺心病。故研究肺气肿的治疗,不仅是为了解决一部分老大难慢性气管炎患者的疾苦,而且对防止肺心病的发生和发展,都具有重要意义。尽管肺气肿的确切病因和发病原理还未彻底搞清,但根据蛋白酶造成肺泡破坏的学说而发展起来的一种动物肺气肿模型,近年来却受到了重视。一般认为喷雾吸入或气管内滴入植物蛋白酶(木瓜蛋白酶或菠萝蛋白酶等)形成动物肺气肿模型的方法,操作简 Emphysema is a common complication of chronic bronchitis in the elderly, and severe emphysema can cause pulmonary failure and pulmonary heart disease.
