Blood donation is a kind of love project and popular project that needs the participation of the whole society. It is a systematic project requiring government support, media propaganda and mass participation. The long-term participation of the general public and the active voluntary donation of blood can only ensure the transfusion needs of any one member of the community. The key to achieving universal access to blood resources is to establish a long-term mechanism of blood donation, multi-sectoral cooperation, mutual integration with other publicity and education resources, extensive voluntary blood donation education and social consensus formation.
