词汇与文化关系密切,词汇是文化的工具和手段,而文化影响词汇方面表现在词汇数量变化和一词多义上。文化和语言血脉相连,因此词汇具有丰富的文化性。文章从历史、民族和社会角度论述词汇的文化性。并在此基础上提出在教学实践中应该大力整合词汇教学和文化导入。英语词汇教学实为一门综合性教学,教师不仅要教授词法,更应该注重学生的英美文化知识的沉淀,以期提高英语词汇教学的质量,使学生在跨文化交际中正确使用词汇,从而避免跨文化语用失误。
Vocabulary and culture are closely related, vocabulary is a tool and means of culture, while cultural influence on vocabulary is reflected in the number of words and polygamy. Cultural and linguistic links, so vocabulary is rich in culture. The article expounds the cultural nature of vocabulary from the aspects of history, nation and society. On this basis, it is suggested that vocabulary teaching and cultural introduction should be strongly integrated in teaching practice. English vocabulary teaching is actually a comprehensive teaching. Teachers should not only teach the lexical, but also lay emphasis on the students’ cultural knowledge of the Anglo-American culture in order to improve the quality of English vocabulary teaching so that students can correctly use the vocabulary in intercultural communication, Cultural pragmatic failure.
