The drive shaft in the application may be a vibration source. The shaft vibration is caused by imbalance, torsional vibration, inertial excitation and auxiliary force coupling effects. This paper explains and provides the procedure for correcting the vibration of the transmission shaft. It also briefly explains the effect of the transmission shaft on the system flexural resonance of the engine-transmission assembly. The transmission shaft has the function of transmitting torque under the condition of speed change. Torque is generated by the power source, increased by the gearbox, and finally transmitted from the drive shaft to the driven member. If the drive shaft is properly balanced, this task of transmitting torque can be accomplished smoothly and silently. The drive shaft must be properly designed with steady-state articulation, revolutions per minute and drive shaft length; and the engine-gearbox assembly The natural frequency is beyond the drive shaft per minute maximum number of revolutions.
