“Everyone is a social innovator; we have changed, the world has changed! ” This is the core concept of Intel’s volunteer culture. Intel encourages employees to contribute their time and expertise to society and to make the community a better place to live. Volunteering helps employees realize their self-worth and inspire them to change the world. Volunteerism has created Intel’s innovative culture, spread positive energy and stimulated the rich atmosphere of social innovation. Growing from an ordinary participant to an organizer, I’ve been organizing Intel employees to participate in the “China Charity Health Campaign” for six consecutive years and have won the 2012 Global Volunteerism Hero Award.
