吐谷(音yu)浑是中国西北古代民族之一。据中国史籍载,其原为居辽东鲜卑慕容部首领涉归庶出长子名,分有部众一千七百户(一说“七百家”)。公元3世纪末,吐谷浑率部从慕容部中分离出来,西迁至今内蒙古阴山;西晋永嘉末(公元312-313年)又经陇山,徙居今甘肃临夏西北。不久,又向西、向南扩展,统治了今甘、青及四川
Tuyu (tone yu) muddy is one of the ancient peoples in northwestern China. According to historical records in China, it was originally a resident of Liao Dong Xianbei Murong ministers who came out of the first name, divided into a Ministry of public 1,700 (one said “700”). At the end of the third century AD, the Tuyuhunli Division was separated from the Murongdian, and the west moved to Yinshan in Inner Mongolia so far. At the end of Yongjia in the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 312-313), it passed Longshan and migrated to the northwest of Linxia in Gansu Province.
