随着我国水利事业的不断蓬勃发展,对岩石各种参数的研究显得更加重要.弹性模量是岩石强度的一个重要指标,由于岩石存在各向异性、非均质性,需要大面积测量.而以往惯用的静力法,实践证明,费人力、物力、时间及投资、不宜大面积测量,并且静力法试点面积选择也经常受到各种限制,要将小面积的试验成果引伸到整个坝区,也常存在一些问题.动力法具有简便、快速经济、便于大面积测量的优点,也能迅速测出各种深度地层的动弹性模量值.所以受到国内外广泛重视.日本、苏联、南斯拉夫等国在这方面己做了大量的研究
