书法,是中华民族传统文化中的瑰宝,也是世界艺术之林中独放异彩的奇葩。这是因为:书法所写的是汉字;汉字是书法的表现对象和造型基础,是书法的生命之源。从这个意义上讲,没有汉字就没有书法,只有在中国文化中,书法才成为一门举足轻重的艺术。本文仅从书法艺术与汉语言文化间的关系,作简要论述。
Calligraphy is a treasure in the traditional Chinese culture and is also a wonderful flower in the world of art. This is because: Chinese calligraphy is written by Chinese characters; Chinese calligraphy is the object of expression and the basis of modeling, which is the source of calligraphy’s life. In this sense, there is no calligraphy without Chinese characters, and calligraphy has only become a pivotal piece of art in Chinese culture. This article only briefly discusses the relationship between calligraphy and Chinese language and culture.
