史蒂文·施纳德(Steven Schroeder),美国著名诗人、哲学家。1954年6月生于美国德克萨斯州,1982年获美国芝加哥大学社会学博士学位。现任美国 VAC(VirtualArtists Collections)出版社的主编,芝加哥大学、深圳大学兼职教授。已出版《社团和视觉》、《弗吉尼亚·伍尔芙:主体和伦理学主体》、《合作的形而上学》、《在自由和需要之间》、《探听宗教,定位哲学,触摸教育》等哲学、宗教研究专著5部和《通往拉萨之路》、《革命性耐心》、《猫的理论》3部诗集。并发表学术论文100余篇。他的诗作发表在《号灯》、《点心》、《乔治敦评论》、《月亮城评论》等几十家重要的国际诗歌刊物上。
Steven Schroeder, a famous American poet and philosopher. Born in June 1954 in Texas, USA, he received his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Chicago in 1982. The current American VAC (VirtualArtists Collections) Publishing House editor, University of Chicago, Shenzhen University part-time professor. Philosophies such as “Society and Vision,” “Virginia Woolf: Subjects and Ethics,” “Metaphysics of Cooperation,” “Freedom and Need,” “Snooping in Religion, Positioning Philosophy, Touch Education,” have been published, Religious Studies monograph 5 and “road to Lhasa”, “revolutionary patience”, “Cat Theory” 3 poems. And published more than 100 academic papers. His poems are published in dozens of important international poetry publications such as “Beacon,” “Dim Sum,” “Georgetown Review,” “Moon City Review.”
