保持南方革命“战略支点”,是抗日战争时期国统区党组织的一项长期战略任务。中共福建省委在执行这一战略任务的过程中,逐步形成了“武装退却”的策略思想和“合法斗争与武装自卫斗争相结合”的斗争方式,保存了党的有生力量,取得了抗日反顽斗争的最后胜利。“武装退却”思想的形成,是福建省委把民族斗争和阶级斗争的一致性原理在福建的成功运用,也是贯彻党的“隐蔽精干”方针所发挥的创造精神的具体体现。它对于基本地区制定斗争方针,具有普遍的借鉴意义。
