用川棉１０９经四个单位１９８３～１９９６年多点网室接虫和大田自然感虫作抗虫性鉴定和人工接菌作抗病性鉴定。结果表明，川棉１０９抗棉蚜和棉红铃虫，中抗立枯病，高抗棉枯萎病，且抗性稳定，是一个多抗虫、多抗病的优良品种。
