This paper reports a fast growing Hepatitis A virus (HAV) strain capable of producing cytopathic effect (CPE) on Frp / 3 cells and to study the chemical properties between this strain and cell receptors. The authors used various enzymes to treat different chemical groups of cells and observed the sensitivity of cell surface to HAV adsorption.
