Gauss’s theorem states that in any electrostatic field, the electric flux through any closed surface equals the algebraic sum of free charges surrounded by this closed surface. ∮D · ds = q The law of Ampere’s loop says that the integral of the H-vector along any closed curve in a magnetic field is equal to the algebraic sum of the intensities of the currents encircling the closed curve.
