Recently, the Indian government announced the state budget for 2015-2016, with the space sector receiving a total budget of Rs 6,000 crore. Among them, the Indian government stressed that the main budget of the funds will be used for launch vehicle technology research and development, a total allocation of 21.18 billion rupees. The main budget allocations for other areas and projects are: Operation and maintenance of Rs 1,281 crore for the national satellite project in India; Rs 3,850 crore for the new launch site of the Satish Dhawan Space Center; the large communications satellite GSAT- 15 projects of 1.65 billion rupees; India’s future lunar exploration project 400 million rupees; Solar Research Satellite Aditya project 200 million rupees.
