乔治·艾略特的《弗洛斯河上的磨坊》以工业革命为背景,通过家道败落、复兴家业和人物悲剧命运的描述,展示了19世纪中期维多利亚时期英国小镇的人情风貌,谴责了男权中心主义对女性的压迫。本文从生态女性主义视角对该作品进行了解读,分析了人与自然、自然与两性之间的关系,对于当下加强生态环境保护,关注女性权益,促进社会公平和谐发展有着现实的意义。
