Objective To evaluate the relationship between TGF-β1 expression and neointimal hyperplasia after vascular injury by Meta-analysis, and provide a new idea for clinical treatment. Methods The databases of Pubmed, EMBASE, web of science, springer link, proquest, CNKI and Wanfang were searched. Revman5.3 software was used to analyze the data of animal experiments about the relationship between the expression level of TGF-β1 and neointimal thickness published from 1990 to 2016 at home and abroad. Results included in the literature 7. Neointimal hyperplasia decreased (P <0.001), neointimal area decreased (P <0.001), intima / media thickness ratio decreased (P <0.001), and the degree of stenosis was higher than that of TGF- β1 expression was lower (P <0.001). Conclusion TGF-β1 plays an important role in neointima formation after vascular injury. Decreasing TGF-β1 expression can inhibit neointimal hyperplasia and reduce the risk of restenosis after vascular injury.
