金属切削机床是机械制造和维修必不可少的设备,随着机械品种的扩大和技术水平的提高,对机床加工精度的要求也愈来愈高。有人曾作过有趣的统计,机器零件加工精度自1800年以来,每五十年提高一个数量级(表1)。近年来随着国防工业的进展,各种精密自动控制系统和测试仪表要求的零件精度更是大大提高,高精度精密机床的品种和数量也就不断增加。
