鲤鱼是我国淡水中主要经济鱼类之一。它的适应性强,分布广,食性杂,繁殖快,成活率高,肉味鲜美,深受群众喜爱。我国是世界上最早的养鲤的国家,早在2400多年前就开始养鲤。鲤鱼在我国的江河、湖泊、山塘、稻田均有分布,在许多山塘、鱼池中还是主要养殖对象。它的产量在我国淡水鱼业中占很重要的地位,天然水体中扑捞产量占10至20%,在某些未放养的湖泊中占50%,在一些养殖湖中占30%。

Its adaptability, wide distribution, miscellaneous food habits, breeding fast, high survival rate, delicious meat, loved by the masses. Our country is the earliest carp country in the world, as early as 2400 years ago began to raise carp. Its production occupies a very important position in the freshwater fish industry in China.
