天门市一纺织女工因工资被扣100元自杀,这样的消息让记者震惊。在事发地探访真相时记者发现,虽然自杀原因尚有争议,但民营企业中职工劳动强度高,工资低,还随时可能被罚款,这让职工们难以承受,也使得劳资矛盾屡屡发生。而这样的情况不止存在于天门市,在众多的民营企业,工会组织往往难以发挥作用,各级监管部门又往往是鞭长莫及,导致工人找不到说话的地方。
