北方战区总司令——埃贝哈特 美国国防部5月8日宣布,布什总统已任命空军四星上将拉尔夫·埃贝哈特出任北方战区首任司令。 埃贝哈特1968年毕业于美国空军学院,曾在空军司令部任职,参加过越战和海湾战争,有4500小时的飞行和战斗经历,还担任过美军驻日本空军司令,2000年升任北美防空司令部司令。埃贝哈特被认为既有现代军事理论又有实战经验。他主张发展太空部队,发展导弹防御计划。
Commander in Chief of the North Theater - Eberhart The U.S. Defense Department announced on May 8 that President Bush has appointed Air Force four-star general Ralph Eberhardt as the first commander of the North Theater. Eberhart graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1968 and served in the Air Force Command. He served in the Vietnam War and the Gulf War with 4,500 hours of flight and combat experience. He also served as the commander of the U.S. Air Force in Japan. In 2000, he was promoted to North American Air Defense Commander Commander. Eberhart is considered as both modern military theory and practical experience. He advocated the development of space forces and the development of a missile defense plan.
