株洲市区是“90年代新中国人口死亡原因调查”课任的抽样调查点之一。于1993～1994年在省肿瘤防治办公室的指导下，严格按照全国人口死因调查方案展计完成了1990～1992年176万人口的死因回顾性调查。本市区曾于1973～1975年作为全国人口死因调查点进行过1973～1975年类似调查，
The urban area of Zhuzhou is one of the sample survey sites for the “Survey of Causes of Population Death in New China in the 1990s”. From 1993 to 1994 under the guidance of the Provincial Cancer Prevention and Control Office, a complete retrospective survey of the cause of death of 1.76 million people from 1990 to 1992 was completed in strict accordance with the National Population Death Cause Survey Program. This urban area was used as a survey of the cause of death in the country from 1973 to 1975. It conducted a similar survey from 1973 to 1975.
