自主学习就是以学生作为学习的主体,通过学生独立分析、思考、探索、实践、质疑、创造等方法来实现学习目标。自主学习的意义在于:这是高职高专大学英语教学的要求所在;这是大学生终身学习的需要;这是大学生自我完善和自我提高的需要。网络环境下培养高职高专大学生自主学习意识的途径在于:激发学生学习兴趣是前提;灌输新技术理念,从理论方面提高学生积极参与意识是基础;激励学生参与实践,用行动强化自主学习意识是关键。互联网更加有助于提高、培养大学生自主学习意识。
