在长期的革命生涯中,任弼时高度重视团的教育训练工作,在理论上和实践上都取得了丰硕成果。他要求团员要特别加强马列主义学习,并注意在实际工作和斗争中锻炼提高。在教育训练的主体上,任弼时强调在发挥各级团组织作用的同时,也要重视各级党委的领导推动作用。任弼时重视团的教育训练工作不是偶然的,既有他本人在莫斯科学习经历的影响,也有其他考虑。青年团自身承担着重要的历史使命,青年同志是中国革命的未来和希望,团的事业是党的事业的重要组成部分,所以应从党的工作大局出发,重视团的建设,不断推进包括教育训练在内的各项工作。任弼时民主革命时期团的教育训练工作的理论与实践,对我们今天进一步加强团的建设仍然具有示范和启示意义。
