My mother had thick black hair and braided long, thick braids. She slammed her head behind the hem of the sweater. The villagers called her to grow up. When I was a kid, I loved to look at my mother’s hair. The black hair drooped like a waterfall and it looked like a thick cloud. It looked very good. At that time, the seller often carried the goods, shook his tambourine, and walked across the village to sell. Children who don’t have cash can use wool, duck feathers, hair, and other miscellaneous items to exchange their stone sugar, ginger sugar, and mints, and enjoy it with relish. When the chicken and duck feathers were exchanged, I looked at my mother’s hair and asked, “Mom, cut my hair for sugar and eat?” My mother said, “No, this is my lifeblood.” Soon, the mother could not bear to cut. The hair is not cut off, and each time the hair falls off. I collected the hair that my mother had dropped, and if she was a treasure, she wrapped up a big thumb-like knot and hid it in a wall hole. When the buyer went down to the village, he flew it for sugar. Since then, I look forward to my mother’s hair every day. As soon as my mother combed her hair, I stayed beside me, gathering her lost hair and begging for her mother: “Mom, if you see so little, you can’t get two ginger sugar and comb them out.”
